Microsoft Bought Skype.

News has it that Microsoft is buying Skype for $8.5 BILLION. Competitors like Google, and Apple were trying to buy it as well but Microsoft was the top dog in this deal.

What does that mean for all the Microsoft branded things like Xbox, Live Messenger, and the upcoming line of Windows Phones? Well it seems like they would take adavantage of Skype's VoIP service and integrate it into all of these devices very soon.

They better make this work and not fail at it, because Skype is already a very well, world-wide known thing and is already a good application to use by itself.

Make Some Extra Cash From Gigwalk!

Here's a chance to earn some money from an app by just giving information about roads and other public things. Companies like Motorola an dTomTom are having people work on the streets (haha) to get information on roads to use on the information that people recieve on their GPS's. This job can net you about $3-$90 per task depending on how high your "street cred" is. Your street cred pretty much gets raised from the quality of work and information you send in to Gigwalk. The more tasks that you get done, the more you end up getting paid. Gigwalk earners have mad more than $2000 ($400 on average) doing more than 270 tasks in the month of March. What a good side job! I wouldn't mind earning some money by just travelling around and giving out information about what I see.

This app is currently only availible on iPhone users which sucks for others!

Remember the Augmented Reality feature on the Nintendo 3DS?

Well, this guy fell in love with it so much, that a week later, he went out to get one of those cards tattoo'd on his wrist. That guy is such a trooper! I wouldn't want to get something like that tattoo'd on me if it were to save my life. The weird thing is that nobody would actually know what it is unless you actually have played with a 3DS. Cool thing is that the 3DS can actually read the card on his arm and you can play games from it! This guy has one less card to carry around with his little portable game system.

Hulu on Xbox!

Hulu Plus comes to Xbox today! More and more applications are being integrated over to gaming consoles for ease and so there aren't many devices that you don't have to go through to use your favorite apps! I'm pretty sure it's just making people even more lazier (is that even a word?), but it's just making things more easy for everyone. Hulu Plus is going to be free for a week for all Xbox Live Gold memebers and after that, you will have to pay for regular fee, which is pretty much the same price as Netflix. I think Netflix is a more better deal, because it has tons of movies. Hulu focuses more on tv shows, clips, and whatnot. Soon, YouTube will be integrated over to the consoles as well. Soon, we will all be on our couches, browsing the web on our televisions and being LAZY!

Sony Announces New TABLETS.

Today, Sony announced two new tablets, the S1 and S2, to play in the Tablet game which a lot of companies are trying for.
They are both running on a Honeycomb processor and would seem to be like promising products because they are made from Sony (Sony tends to release really good products). The S1 looks like every other tablet out there now, but the S2 has TWO SCREENS! They took a 10" screen and pretty much cut it in half and put some hinges on there. It looks to me like it's going to compete with the Nintendo DS. Of course, they are not in the same category and the S2 can probably do way more but the DS would be superior in gaming fun.

I think that tablets are just a huge waste of money. I don't think very many people will buy these things because there are already laptops/computers that we use at home (if you don't have one, you probably are using a tablet), and on the run, we are all using our iPhones and whatnot that can do everything else a tablet can do but be even more portable than it. I myself, wouldn't mind owning one of these tablets for fun but I would probably just download some apps for my son so he can play with it and be amazed to learn visually from his sense touch. That's what baby's like to do right?

Who would have thought of this?

This woman is on a manual wheelchair and came up with the clever idea of getting it pulled with a lawnmower. GENIUS!

About my Phone.

So I emailed LetsTalk (The company that I won my phone from) last week about my phone and I finally got a reply from them a WEEK LATER. They said that they have looked into it and are going to ship it out sometime early this week. I have been waiting a little over 3 weeks for this phone to come, and now it's going to be 4 weeks of waiting because of a "5-7 day shipping period", depending on where my location is, which is right up north from Texas because that is where they are located.

It's getting a little irritating....
