Sony Announces New TABLETS.

Today, Sony announced two new tablets, the S1 and S2, to play in the Tablet game which a lot of companies are trying for.

They are both running on a Honeycomb processor and would seem to be like promising products because they are made from Sony (Sony tends to release really good products). The S1 looks like every other tablet out there now, but the S2 has TWO SCREENS! They took a 10" screen and pretty much cut it in half and put some hinges on there. It looks to me like it's going to compete with the Nintendo DS. Of course, they are not in the same category and the S2 can probably do way more but the DS would be superior in gaming fun.

I think that tablets are just a huge waste of money. I don't think very many people will buy these things because there are already laptops/computers that we use at home (if you don't have one, you probably are using a tablet), and on the run, we are all using our iPhones and whatnot that can do everything else a tablet can do but be even more portable than it. I myself, wouldn't mind owning one of these tablets for fun but I would probably just download some apps for my son so he can play with it and be amazed to learn visually from his sense touch. That's what baby's like to do right?
