Phone Company AT&T Buying T-Mobile?!

AT&T announced that they are buying T-Mobile ($39 Billion)! That would make AT&T the largest network int he country. (Wow!) What does that mean for all of the T-Mobile users like me? Well, we would only have to think about that after the deal is approved which will take about 12 months to complete and is approved by the FCC and FTC. T-Mobile wasn't really that good of a phone company anyways, but they did have a lot to offer and bring in to the phone business like taking chances on phones and having really cheap plans. I wouldn't mind making the change because there are already millions of people on AT&T service using mainly iPhones and they don't seem to have a problem with it. There will also be a pretty lame choice of phones to pick from soon since there isn't going to be anymore GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications, just using SIM cards in short) carriers to battle against and companies to rival in having better phones but i'm pretty sure everything will integrate smoothly and everyone will be happy with it when it's done. I wouldn't mind having an iPhone and wishing I was with another service provider because AT&T is ahead of the game!

  2. It won't change unless you change it. Whatever you have now will grandfather (caryy over) onto the new service.
So if you don't want to get screwed over on what you're paying for what you have now, don't add or change anything unless you want the iPhone, then things will change.
