Sidekicks are Returning!

OMG! (LOL) The exclusive to T-Mobile line of phones are coming back, but this time they are running on new software! On March 15, 2011, T-Mobile announced on their website the Sidekick 4G. It somewhat still has the same look when open out, full keyboard and all, but when it is closed and is at it's regular state, it looks like any other ordinary touchscreen smartphone out there.

Since the announcement of the Danger Operating System that Sidekicks' have been running on is ending (which is a good thing because it sucked anyways), T-Mobile has decided to run Android OS on the newer models just like any other phone out there. This is a big jump for Sidekick users for the phone to be made by Samsung instead of Sharp and to be running on Android, but eventually everyone will be familiar with the Android software on their phones and eventually on other mobile products. I, myself, have been a user of Sidekicks for a while and sort of like the change in model and software. Things have always been slow on the older models like service and when they jumped on the 3G service and thought that it would work well, it didn't. Other Android phones have proven that they can and will work well and if the newer Sidekicks will be running that software, it will make it all the better.
The phone will be releasing sometime in the Spring, and I am looking forward to it. Every smartphone looks the same nowadays and having a full keyboard along with a touchscreen design is very helpful and stylish!

More news on other products on the way
